Tanya Vanness

Tanya serves as the Women's Regional Manager for the Vermont Foundation of Recovery (VFOR). Her diverse career has spanned roles from heavy equipment operator and accountant to caregiver for hospice patients. However, her true passion has always been helping individuals struggling with addiction—a mission deeply personal to her.

 

Sixteen years ago, Tanya faced her own battle with addiction, which led to the loss of relationships, jobs, and eventually, time in jail. It was during this difficult period that she recognized she had reached rock bottom and decided to turn her life around. This turning point inspired her to focus on not only her own recovery but also on how she could support others in their journeys to overcome addiction.

Tanya’s dedication and perseverance culminated in her appointment as the Women's Regional Manager at VFOR. Tanya feels truly blessed to be part of the VFOR family and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.
