VFOR’s mission is to create a statewide network of recovery homes to help people suffering from substance use disorder, reassimilate into society by supporting their transitions from active use, to recovery, to independent living.

VFOR’s vision is that every Vermonter struggling with substance use disorder has ready access to a full spectrum of recovery supports and services. We envision a future in which VFOR can connect individuals suffering from substance use disorder with services that shepherd them from detoxification, to inpatient treatment, to outpatient counseling, to sober living and employment. Ultimately, we want to help our members achieve stable sobriety and independent living as valued and productive members of their communities. These services should be available to any Vermonter who needs them, locally and without delay.
