Vermont Foundation of Recovery (VFOR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals as they transition to long-term recovery from substance use disorder. Our mission is to provide safe and supportive recovery homes that foster community, accountability, and personal growth. We believe that recovery is possible for everyone, and we are committed to helping people rebuild their lives, one step at a time.

Since our founding, VFOR has grown to include several recovery homes throughout Vermont, each designed to offer members a structured environment where they can develop healthy habits, reconnect with their passions, and work toward a brighter future.

In addition to providing housing, we partner with local organizations, state agencies, and community partners to expand our resources, increase funding, and enhance the support available to our members. Our commitment to building a strong recovery network is also reflected in our organizational systems, ongoing expansion efforts, and focus on making recovery accessible to all.

At VFOR, we aim to empower individuals to not only recover, but to thrive and reintegrate as healthy and productive members of their communities.
